Old Hemlock Bromley Standing Tall

My wife was lucky enough to catch this image out back the other day.

I thought some folks might get a kick out of it.

  1. Nice, John. Really knows where those birds are. Probably won’t get too many to come to feeder if he makes a habit of this.

  2. Wow, that boy got big.
My blue bird house is under constant surveillance 🙂

    • Yup–he’s grown to a very strong and athletic pup. We’ve decided to keep him.
      🙂
Seriously, both Toni and I are constantly amazed at the personality of these dogs.
Really a pleasure to have in the house and natural hunters. Bromley is beginning to show great patience and will stand a bird for a long time. His second season should be la oad of fun and show us a lot of what he’ll be.

  3. He is beautiful! Love the photo! I have two of my own. One, a Llewellyn, we rescued as a pup about 5 years ago and the other a new puppy who was left near our home about 5 weeks ago (he is about 13 weeks old we figure) but not sure what he will look like until later. They are the most amazing dogs. The 5 year old is hunting with my husband at this moment. He is hunting passing migrating birds at the top of our mountain in Dima Spain. She looks up for the approaching birds and can hear them before my husband who is a bit hard of hearing. She has learned to do this on her own and is amazing. She waits until the shot, watches the bird drop and goes and finds it. Her retrieval rate is impressive. She also still points of course and excellent in the field as well. The new pup has a good role model!
