Lower Illinois Tailwater Oklahoma
I’m getting excited about trout water around the area. First up is the Lower Illinois–less than two hours drive! A tailwater flowing out of Lake Tenkiller making for year round cool water trout fishing. I’m reading 20″ minimum possessions of Browns and good sized Rainbows abounding. Looking forward to exploring those waters. I will be searching for wadeable sections, but a float is not out of the question at some point.
Bamboo or Graphite? 🙂

John, we’ve been long out of touch; have you moved to Oklahoma or visiting family? Hope you are well, buddy.

Moved to Oklahoma, Mike. Changes happened quickly. Bottom line—Toni’s mom is alone out here and the move makes Toni and her mom real happy.
