A Milestone
Labor day weekend coming up. This is the last milestone in the road to Autumn, where the road becomes more clear as the fog of summer rises.
I can nearly feel the crunchy leaves under foot and smell the molding mixed with grapes and apples. I can nearly catch the oder of dew damp setters checking in or sitting a rock for a shared sandwich.
